From teaching various grades in a variety of schools, I have developed an even stronger passion for educating young children. I have worked with students who have specific learning disabilities to those who just need a little confidence booster. I truly enjoy watching students grow into independent learners who recognize their own true potential in education and look forward to assisting students achieve academic excellence. Having recently completed my Master's degree in elementary reading and literacy, I have taken numerous classes on effective teaching strategies and techniques for engaging students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
